Can artificial intelligence really think? Could a robot be your best friend? And wait... AI writes poetry now?! Come and explore the fascinating origin story of artificial minds at AHHAA’s new exhibition “Ahhaa, Artificial Mind = AI!”, which takes you straight to the heart of the world of AI!
Imagine a world where machines write novels, computers understand you better than your own grandma, and artificial intelligence can even... crack a joke. Weird? Maybe. Exciting? Absolutely. In this exhibition, AI acts, interacts, creates, thinks, and plays – it’s a true artificial mind party, where the main character behaves surprisingly human. The Artificial Mind exhibition reflects both history and the present, where the brain might no longer be the smartest thinker in our homes.
How did we get here? And where are we heading next?
What does AI do at the exhibition?
- It listens and talks to you – it tells jokes, has conversations, and might even express... emotions?
- It creates art – AI paints, composes music, and writes poetry. Is it real creativity or a brilliant copy? You decide.
- It makes a deepfake of you – pick a face, say some words – voilà! AI puts your voice in someone else’s mouth. Kinda creepy... and kinda cool.
- It plays with you – chess, Connect Four, logic puzzles. Can you outsmart artificial intelligence? Or maybe it’s just pretending to let you win?
- It learns from you – the more you interact, the better it understands you. You’re part of its learning journey.
- It reflects on life – yes, really! In the Thinking Chamber, AI poses questions that are genuinely hard to answer. Who should make the decisions? Is AI fair? Whose data is it even using?
