Rheoscopic fluid is placed in a thin cylinder. When you spin the cylinder, the light that reflects from the fluid shows the formation of numerous whirls and spirals.
Change the speed of spinning and the size and shape of whirls will change as well. This visually stunning blue exhibit is also a great favourite of our visitors, as each swirl is unique and every spin you create changes the look of the whole exhibit.
